About Tami Boatright, Ed. D.
Dr. Tami Boatright has served Central Unified students, staff, and the community for 30 years with the goal of ensuring an inclusive, high-quality education for students that affords them limitless opportunities for the future. Her passion for education; specifically, for the students and staff in Central Unified, has been evident in her work.
She has served Central Unified in many roles since joining the district in 1992. She has been an intervention and classroom teacher, school site leader, supervisor of assessment and technology, director of K-8 education, and an area administrator. Dr. Boatright holds teaching, reading specialist, and administrative credentials. She has a MA in Education and Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership.
Dr. Boatright considers herself a lifelong learner. She is in constant pursuit of new knowledge to contribute to Central Unified to provide and support student and staff learning opportunities. On a personal note, Dr. Boatright and her husband were members of the Central community for more than 25 years and are immensely proud of their two sons, both of whom attended Central Unified schools. She loves to travel, read, and spend early mornings running with friends.
